Introductions are in order!

Hi everyone, My name is Todd and I'm really happy to be taking this class. I don't want to get to much into my personal life here as this is a public blog and the last thing I need is more targeted advertisements. However, I am a software engineer and I'm really into the concepts we will be covering in this class.

I currently do some work with big data and I'm also partially responsible for a few of the Covid responses at the UofA. Including their App and their rapid testing. 

Anyways, just from the description of the class I feel like I'm going to learn a ton. The way the class is structured is interesting. I've never been a blogger and I don't really see my self blogging much after this class either. That being said, it'll be a fun exercise to challenge myself and will hopefully lock in the knowledge gained from the lectures.
